![]() On The Limit is weekly motorsport series produced by New Zealand company, Power Pictures. The 2005 series will feature the high-profile Japan GT Championship, the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, plus other Motorsport from the Asia Pacific region. Power Pictures is producing the international television coverage for the Japan GT Championship, as the series pursues expansion plans into Asia and the Pacific. The JGTC features works teams running Toyota Supras and MRSes, Nissan Skylines and Silvias, Hondas NSXes...plus McLaren, Porsche, Subaru Impreza, Mazda RX-7, Chrysler Viper, Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari 360, BMW M3, Chev Corvette, Mercedes-Benz CLK, Mosler and Vemac entries. Big fields and close racing - the latter guaranteed by a system of handicap weight penalties. The FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship began in 1988 and has the largest population base of any FIA Motor Sport Championship - 2.8 billion people - over 1/3 of the world's population. Visiting three continents and eight very different countries - this is a championship of diversity and adventure with a wide variety of cultures, climates, religions, languages and landscapes. From the beautiful Pacific island of New Caledonia to the forests of Hokkaido, Japan; the humidity of Indonesia to the cold winter conditions in New Zealand - this championship has it all, a true challenge for any driver, team and manufacturer On The Limit is produced by Power Pictures for broadcast on the ESPN STAR satellite network around Asia (to China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines).
